The Bay Breakers travel across the country to New York to face the Exiles at Mount Vernon Memorial Stadium during Round 2 of the 2026 WER season!

This is the 3rd meeting all between these teams, with the Bay Breakers holding a 2-0 series lead with the most recent meeting a 38-26 Breakers victory in California in Round 10. Despite the series lead, the Breakers finished 1pt behind the New York Exiles in 2025, and will be looking to leapfrog them in 2026.

The NY Exiles are still looking for their opening win of 2026 after falling to the Boston Banshees 38-19 in their opening game of the season. They will be looking to bounce back, but the Bay Breakers are flying high after a comfortable 36-19 victory over the defending champion Denver Onyx to hand them just their 2nd ever loss. Despite the cross-country travel, the confident Breakers ran away with this game, racing out to a 7-22 lead by half time, and finishing with a scoreline of 12-46 to hand the Exiles their 2nd consecutive loss with the Breakers’ 2nd straight win.
