California native Hope Cooper played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025 and 2026. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

Hope Cooper earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Bay Breakers starting lineup against the Denver Onyx, the first game in Breakers history. A former volleyball player, Cooper has previously played with the Berkeley All Blues in the WPL. Cooper started 4 of her 5 appearances for the Breakers in the league’s inaugural season, scoring her first career WER try. Hope Cooper returned to the Bay Breakers the following year for their 2026 WER season.
