Both teams are coming off of losses in Round 6. The Tempest are looking for a strong response after being shut out at home last week at the hands of the league-leading Denver Onyx, while the Bay Breakers fell in a closely fought contest with the TC Gemini. This is the first meeting between these sides in the WER era.
