Fijian winger Miriama Marawa played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural 2025 season. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

Miriama Marawa earned her WER debut when she was named in the starting lineup for the Bay Breakers’ Round 6 clash with the TC Gemini. She has previously represented the Life West Gladiatrix in the WPL, as well as the Fiji 7s team internationally and at the Olympic games.

Michigan native Sophia Lamphier played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural 2025 season. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

Sophia Lamphier earned her WER debut when she was named in the starting lineup for the Bay Breakers’ Round 6 clash with the TC Gemini. She has previously represented the Berkeley All Blues in the WPL, as well as the Loggerheads in the PR7s. Lamphier travelled with the USA Eagles to Japan in 2024, and represented the USA Falcons against Brazil in both 2024 and May 2025.

A personal trainer, Sydney Martichuski earned her WER debut when she was named in the reserves for the Gemini’s Round 6 clash with the Bay Breakers. She has previously represented the Twin Cities Amazons in the WPL.

Naomi Carrillo

Hawaiian native Naomi Carrillo played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural 2025 season. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

Naomi Carrillo, known as Omi, earned her WER debut when she was named in the starting lineup for the Breakers’ Round 4 clash with the New York Exiles. She has previously represented the Berkeley All Blues in the WPL, and has represented the Phillippines 7s internationally, as well as both the Retrievers and the All-Star team in the PR7s.

Carrillo recorded a hat trick in the Breakers’ Round 10 victory over the New York Exiles, the first of her WER career. This more than doubled her season try total to that point, from 2 to 5.

Junior Time-Taotua

New Zealand center Junior Time-Taotua played in Major League Rugby during the 2025 season. He represented the San Diego Legion for his entire MLR career.

Junior Time-Taotua was introduced to rugby at an early age, and played with Northern United in Porirua before joining the Ngāti Porou East Coast RU in 2022. More recently, Time-Taotua has moved to Australia, playing with the Canberra Royals and entering the Brumbies system in Canberra. He spend the 2025 Super Rugby pre-season with the Brumbies before joining the San Diego Legion. His signing was announced on 23rd May, 2025. It is unclear if Time-Taotua was signed as injury cover, or before the 2025 Trade/Signing deadline in April.

Minnesota native Tara Viken played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the inaugural 2025 season. She represented the Twin Cities Gemini for her entire WER career.

Tara Viken earned her WER debut off the bench for the TC Gemini in their Round 2 clash with the Boston Banshees. She has previously played with the Twin Cities Amazons in the WPL.

Peyton Wall

Outside back Peyton Wall played in Major League Rugby between 2025-2026. He represented the Chicago Hounds for his entire MLR career.

A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Wall started playing rugby from an early age, and grew up around the game, attending Leo High School as well as Indiana University. He played rugby throughout his time there, and was included in the USA U23s in 2023. He declared for the MLR Draft in 2024 and was selected in the first round, 10th Overall by the Chicago Hounds, who then signed his for the 2025 season following a solid fall season with the Hounds academy.

Wall first appeared in a matchday 23 during Round 12 of the 2025 season, when he was named on the Hounds bench for a clash with the Miami Sharks at home, a 14-7 victory in which Peyton Wall earned his MLR debut. Although he did not appear until well into the 2nd half of the season, Wall exploded in his limited gametime. He scored 3 tries and started 6 of his 7 appearances including both of Chicago’s playoff games, gaining well over 550m in possession and putting together a very strong rookie season. He was named as the 2025 MLR Rookie of the Year on 24th July, 2025, as well as Chicago Hounds Rookie of the Year.

On Octobe 21st 2025, the Chicago Hounds announced the return of Peyton Wall for his sophomore season in Major League Rugby. He was the first returning player announced by the Chicago Hounds ahead of their 2026 Campaign.

Tom Pittman

US-Eligible English Fly-half Tom Pittman played in Major League Rugby between 2026-2027. He represented Anthem RC for his entire MLR career.

Born and raised in England, Tom Pittman attended the King’s School in Taunton, playing rugby while there and entering the Bath Rugby Academy while there. He attended the University of Bath and played in the BUCS during his time there. When COVID-19 cut his university playing short in his final year, Pittman headed to Scotland to play in the Super 6 with the Boroughmuir Bears, before joining the Jersey Reds in the English Championship as injury cover in 2021.

Pittman played with the Reds under former Chicago Hounds head coach Rob Webber from 2021 until their demise in 2023, when he joined the Cornish Pirates for the 2023/24 Championship season. At the conclusion of that campaign, Pittman headed to France and joined C’Chartres in the Fédérale 1, the French 5th tier. Pittman is the grandson of capped Ireland hooker John Hewitt Wilson who was born in Massachusetts, making Pittman US-eligible and leading to his inclusion in the USA Extended Player Squad (EPS) for 2025. Roughly 3 weeks after this inclusion, in the middle of the 2025 season, Anthem RC announced the signing of Tom Pittman for the 2026 & 2027 MLR seasons.

On 14th November 2025, Anthem RC confirmed this move ahead of the 2026 season. Since initially signing with Anthem during the 2025 season, Pittman earned his test debut with the USA against Spain in July 2025 as Eagle #592.

Corbin Smith

New England native Corbin Smith played in Major League Rugby between 2025-2026. He represented Anthem RC (2025) and the California Legion (2026).

Corbin Smith grew up in Connecticut, where he played both football and rugby through high school at Trumbull HS. He attended Hartpury University in England for rugby, and was selected for the USA U20 side in 2024, and was named to the USA Extended Player Squad for 2025. On April 28th, 2025 (the 20235 trade/signing deadline), Anthem RC announced the addition of Smith for the remainder of the 2025 season. In his limited time with Anthem, Smith scored a try and 11 points in 5 appearances, starting 3 times and gaining over 200m in possession while recording a pair of assists.

Following the MLR season, Corbin Smith returned to the UK to re-join Hartpury University, once again competing in the BUCS Super Rugby competition for the 2024/25 season and the start of the 2025/26 season. However with Smith hovering on the edge of the USA Eagles squad, he returned to Major League Rugby for the 2026 season, signing with the California Legion who announced his addition on 17th March, 2026.
