Minnesota native Emerson Allen played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Twin Cities Gemini for her entire WER career.

Emerson Allen was named in the starting lineup for TC Gemini’s first ever game on 23rd March, 2025. She started 6 of her 7 appearances for the TC Gemini in 2025, as they finished 5th. Allen has previously played with the Life University Running Eagles, as well as the San Clemente Rhinos. Allen is a test capped USA Eagle, earning her debut as Eagle #326 against Japan in August 2024.

Following the inaugural WER season, Allen was included in the USA squad for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England, and signed with the Leicester Tigers in England’s PWR.

She started 8 of her 9 appearances for the Gemini in their inaugural season, and scored her first and only WER try in the 78th minute of their final game of the season against the Boston Banshees.

Alivia Leatherman

Ohio native Alivia Leatherman played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Twin Cities Gemini for her entire WER career.

Leatherman grew up playing both rugby and soccer through high school before continuing her rugby journey at Notre Dame College. Leatherman attended a number of USA Talent ID camps, and was eventually invited to tour BRazil with the USA U23 to compete for the SudAmerican International Cup, which they won. Alivia Leatherman earned her test debut for the USA as Eagle #322 against Italy in October 2023. She signed with the Ealing Trailfinders in England’s PWR competition mid-way through the 2024/25 season, before returning to the US to participate in the inaugural season of WER.

Alivia Leatherman was named in the starting lineup for TC Gemini’s first ever game on 23rd March, 2025. Leatherman is Eagle #322, earning her international debut against Italy in October 2023. She is the sister of Gemini teammate Lucy Leatherman. She scored a pair of tries and started all 5 of her appearances for the Gemini during their inaugural campaign. Following the WER season, Leatherman returned to England for her first full season with the Trailfinders in 2025/26, and was invited to the USA Eagles’ UK Alignment Camp in early 2026.

Zak Farrance

English lock Zak Farrance played in Major League Rugby during the 2025 season. He represented the San Diego Legion for his entire MLR career.

Zak Farrance came up through the Saracens Academy system, before heading to France to join Oyonnax in 2014. He played with the French side for 6 years between 2014-2020, representing them in both the Pro D2 and, after winning the division in 2017, the Top 14 in the 2017/18 season. In 2020, Farrance departed Oyonnax to join the Jersey Reds in the English Championship, and spent the 2020/21 season on the Channel Island, scoring 3 tries in 5 games. Following a season in with Jersey, Farrance headed back to France and returned to the Pro D2 with Agen, where he played until early 2025.

On 24th March, 2025, the San Diego Legion announced the addition of Zak Farrance for the remainder of the 2025 season. He joined the Legion heading into Round 7 of the 2025 MLR regular season.
