The Breakers are still looking for their first win in just their 2nd game, while the Gemini sit 4th and are looking to build on a 1-1 record. These teams have never met before in the past.

With a convincing 66-12 victory for the home side, the Bay Breakers set a new WER record for the most points by a side as their 66pts surpasses the 63pts scored by the Denver Onyx last week. The winning margin of 54pts is a new Breakers record, falling just short of the WER record of 56, also set by the Denver Onyx in Rd 2.
