New Jersey native Tess Feury played in Women’s Elite Rugby for it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the New York Exiles for her entire WER career.

Tess Feury began playing rugby at the age of 4, having been encourged by her father. She was a high school varsity soccer player as well as a USA Rugby High School All-American for three years running (2013-15), and represented the USA U20s between 2015-16 while at college at Penn State, where she was named a Collegiate All-American in 2016 & 2018. Tess Feury earned her test debut for the USA as Eagle #255 in July 2016 against England, and has represented her country at three Rugby World Cups in Ireland (2017), New Zealand (2021), and England (2025).

Tess Feury has played with the Leicester Tigers in England’s PWR competition since 2023, but returned to the US to participate in the inaugural WER season, and was named in the NY Exiles’ starting lineup for WER’s first ever game on 22nd March, 2025, and scored 1 try in 2 games (both starts) during WER’s inaugural season. Following the WER season, she returned to the Leicester Tigers for their 2025/26 campaign, and was a late call up to the USA Eagles squad for her third World Cup in 2025. She was also named to the Eagles’ UK alignment camp in early 2026.
