Alberta native Monique Coffey played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Denver Onyx for her entire WER career.

A capped Canadian, Monique Coffey earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Denver Onyx starting lineup against the Bay Breakers, the first game in Onyx history. She has previously represented the Canadian Sevens team, earning her debut at the Cape Town 7s in 2025, and has played with the Cape Town Wild Dogs in the Rugby Tens Championship. She has also played with the Headliners and the All-Stars in the PR7s
