Illinois native Erica Coulibaly played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Denver Onyx for their entire WER career.

Erica Coulibaly earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Denver Onyx starting lineup against the Bay Breakers, the first game in Onyx history. She attended Iowa University, playing club rugby while there, and she’s represented the Colorado Gray Wolves in the WPL. She was included in the USA Player Pool for the Spring 2025 tour, with the potential to earn her international debut.
