Virginia native Cheta Emba played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Boston Banshees for their entire WER career.
A capped USA Eagle, Cheta Emba was named in the Boston Banshees starting lineup for WER’s first ever game on 22nd March, 2025. She is an Olympian, having represented the USA in Rugby Sevens in the Tokyo games. She has also represented the USA at the Rugby World Cup in 2017, and the World Cup of Sevens in 2018 & 2022.
