The Utah Warriors travel up to Starfire Stadium to face the back-to-back Major League Rugby Champs, the Seattle Seawolves.
The Seawolves held a 28-21 lead at the 75 minute mark before Stephan Coetzee was yellow carded, reducing Seattle to 14 men. Shortly afterwards, the ref awarded Utah a penalty try to bring the score to 28-28 with minutes to play. Seawolves points machine Brock Staller slotted a penalty in the 79th minute to give Seattle a 31-28 lead and surelysecuring the game.
The Warriors however, had other ideas. In a remarkable passage of play, Utah managed to score a game-winning try in the 88th minute of play to snatch the victory away from Seattle by a score of 31-33. This would turn out to be the last MLR game of the 2020 season for both sides, as the season would be postponed for 30 days on March 12, 2020, and then cancelled on March 19, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
