Quebec native Vanessa Chiappetta played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Chicago Tempest for her entire WER career.

Signed mid-way through the 2025 WER season, Vanessa Chiappetta earned her WER debut when she was named in the Chicago Tempest reserves for their Round 11 clash with the Twin Cities Gemini. Chiappetta attended the University of Victoria in British Columbia, playing her club rugby with Westshore RFC while also representing the UVic Vikes Sevens side. She earned her international Sevens debut at the 2025 Singapore Sevens against the USA.
