Oregon native Tiara A’au, known as Pooki, played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the New York Exiles for her entire WER career.

Pooki A’au earned their WER debut when she was named on the bench for the New York Exiles’ Round 5 clash with the Boston Banshees. She has represented the USA international in both rugby league (USA Hawk #34) and rugby union (USA Eagle #315). She has also played with NYRC in the WPL and at Central Washington University during her time there. She has also played with the Stade Français Pink Rockets in France.
