Boston native Shelby Vance played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

Prior to WER, Shelby Vance played with Beantown RFC in the WPL. She was named in the Boston Banshees starting lineup for WER’s first ever game on 22nd March, 2025. Vance earned 9 appearances in total during WER’s inaugural season, starting 8 of her games for the Boston Banshees and scoring a pair of tries for the team. She returned for a second season with the Banshees in 2026.
