New York native Megan Rom played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

A native of Saugerties, NY, Rom attended Saugerties HS before picking up rugby at the age of 15. She enrolling at Life University, playing rugby with the Running Eagles during her time there from 2015-2019 while progressing through the USA Age-Grade sides including the U20s in 2016. She and was named a Collegiate All-American in both 2017 and 2018, the same year she attended a USA development camp. Rom is a capped USA Eagle, having earned her debut in against the Black Ferns in November 2018, and has also played with the Atlanta Harlequins in the WPL.

In late April 2026, Megan Rom was included on the Boston Banshees roster for the 2026 WER season.
