Izzy Currie played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026 season. She represented the Twin Cities Gemini for her entire WER career.

Currie attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and represented their women’s rugby program while there. She helped Eau Claire to back-to-back NCR DII National Championships in 2022 & 2023, and in the latter she co-captained the recorded a hat trick and was named Championship MVP. Following her time with UW Eau Claire, Currie joined the Twin Cities Amazons in the WPL and represented the Midwest Thunderbirds U23 side in June of 2025.

Currie was included in the TC Gemini inaugural roster for the 2025 WER season, but did not feature. She returned for a second season with the Gemini in 2026.
