Versatile Canadian Gracie Anderson played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Chicago Tempest for her entire WER career.

Born in the Yukon, Gracie Anderson was raised in Saskatchewan and discovered rugby at the University of Regina in 2021. She represented the UoR Cougars Women’s Varsity Rugby Club between 2021-2024 where she was named Prairie University Women’s Rugby Conference (PUWRC) MVP in 2024. That same year, Anderson was part of the MacDowell Rugby team that won the 2024 Tropical 7s. Anderson has played with the Regina Ravens at club level as well as the Prairie Fire, (Saskatchewan Rugby’s top women’s side) and the Prairie Islanders 7s team as recently as summer 2025.

Before joining the Chicago Tempest for the 2026 WER season, Gracie Anderson travelled to California in late 2025 for play in the 2025 Rugby Tens Championship with the Serengeti Elephants. In her debut WER campaign, Anderson started all 10 regular season games for the Tempest, finishing as the team’s top try scorer with 7 tries on the season including 1 in their Round 2 victory over the Boston Banshees, the first win in Chicago Tempest history.
