Vermont native Casey Renaud played in Major League Rugby during the 2021 season. He represented Old Glory DC for his entire MLR career.

A South Burlington native, 6’8 lock Casey Renaud attended Kutztown University, where he earned Collegiate All-American honours in 2019. Thanks to his performances at Kutztown, Renaud was selected 11th overall by Old Glory DC in MLR’s inaugural Collegiate Draft in 2020. The Flags signed Renaud for the 2021 campaign, and he earned his pro debut off the bench against the NOLA Gold in March 2021.

In total, Renaud earned 9 appearances for Old Glory DC in 2021 but despite showing promise during an impressive rookie campaign, Renaud did not return to the team for 2022. Instead, he seems to have stepped away from rugby completely in order to pursue other opportunities.
