Ohio native Caitlin Weigel played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

Prior to WER, Caitlin Weigel played with the Colorado Grey Wolves in the WPL. She was named on the Boston Banshees bench for WER’s first ever game on 22nd March, 2025. Weigel appeared in all 10 games for the Boston Banshees during WER’s inaugural season in 2025, starting 8 times and scoring 4 tries in total. She returned for a second season with the Banshees in 2026.
