North Carolina native Ashtyn Kelly played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Chicago Tempest for her entire WER career.

A native of Boone, NC, Kelly attended Appalachian State University and represented the App State Women’s Rugby Team while there before transferring to the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and playing rugby with the Tarheels. She attended a USA U23 Sevens camp in late 2025, and was the top try and points scorer in the D1-AA National 7s Championship in April 2026 shortly before being included on the Chicago Tempest roster ahead of their 2026 WER campaign.
