Gilgronis2022 – RD 16: NOLA Gold v San Diego Legion
The San Diego Legion travel to Louisiana to face the NOLA Gold at the Gold Mine in a cross-conference clash during Round 16 of the 2022 season.
The Legion came away as the victors with a bonus point, 12-42 victory. Jason Higgins stood out, scoring the first MLR hattrick of his career and the 2nd hattrick in Legion club history following Anthony Salaber.

Giltinis2022 – RD 16: Old Glory DC v Houston SaberCats
The Houston SaberCats travel to the nation’s Capital to face Old Glory DC in a historic game at Segra Field during Round 16 of the 2022 season.
With a final score of 42-59 to the visitors, this game is the highest scoring game in MLR history and had a total combined score of 101pts and a total of 15 tries scored, the first game in league history to pass the 100pt mark. This surpasses the previous record of 96pts in a 52-44 Glendale Raptors victory over the Utah Warriors.
It also saw Dean Muir record the first hattrick of his MLR career and the second in SaberCats’ club history. He added a 4th in the 2nd half to become the first player to score 4 tries in a single MLR game.
SaberCats2022 – RD 16: Toronto Arrows v New England Free Jacks
The Toronto Arrows host the New England Free Jacks north of the border, at York Lions Stadium.
The Free Jacks entered the game on a 10-game win streak, but would not make it to 11. The Arrows claimed the victory, with a 33-18 bonus point victory over a sluggish Free Jacks side. Their 10-game win streak ends, setting a new MLR record and becoming the first side to reach the double-digit win streak milestone.

Free Jacks2022 – RD 15: San Diego Legion v LA Giltinis
The LA Giltinis travel down the coast to face the San Diego Legion in what would be the Legion’s final game at the SDSU Sports Deck.
A 21pt performance from fullback Joe Pietersen lifted the Legion over the Giltinis to claim a 31-27 victory over their California rivals to ensure that the Cali Cup returns to San Diego. This puts a halt to LA’s 7-game win streak, a club record.
2022 – RD 15: Rugby New York v Seattle Seawolves
The Rugby New York Ironworkers set a new MLR record for the fewest tackles in a winning effort as they hosted the Seattle Seawolves during Round 15 of the 2022 season.

Seawolves2022 – RD 15: Toronto Arrows v Dallas Jackals
The Toronto Arrows host the Dallas Jackals at York Lions Stadium.
The Arrows recorded the largest shutout in MLR history, defeating the Dallas Jackals 57-0 and scoring 8 tries in the process. The winning margin of 57pts was the 2nd largest margin of victory in league history at the time, behind the 67pt margin of the Seattle Seawolves‘ 74-7 win over the Jackals just the week before.
2022 – RD 15: NOLA Gold v Old Glory DC
The NOLA Gold record a healthy 50-21 victory over the visiting Old Glory DC at the Gold Mine during Round 15 of the 2022 season.
This convincing victory was thanks in part to a fast start that saw the Gold score 3 tries in the first 10 minutes, and secure the try BP just after the first water break. Harley Wheeler recorded his 1st MLR hattrick in this game, the 3rd hattrick in Gold club history.
