This game tied the MLR record for points scored by a single side in an MLR game (64), after the Toronto Arrows set the record a few weeks earlier. This also tied the record for the most tries scored by a team in a game (9).
Robbie Petzer was the standout for the Raptors, scoring his first MLR hattrick and the 3rd hattrick in Franchise History. Along with his 3 tries, Petzer went 9/10 from the tee for a total of 34pts in this game alone. At the conclusion of the 2023 season, this is still by far the most points scored by a single player in a MLR game.
