Active MLR Teams
The below table shows a list of all the current Major League Rugby teams as of the conclusion of the 2025 season. MLR has used a Conference System since 2020, so this table is split into Eastern and Western Conferences. As mentioned above, clicking on a name or logo will bring you to that team’s page, where you can find more information on the history of the team, along with historic stats and standings, and all/active player lists.

Former MLR Teams
Major League Rugby, as with most other professional leagues, has had a number of teams come and go since it’s inaugural season in 2018. The below table shows teams that have previously competed in MLR, but are no longer active due to a variety of reasons such as the death of an owner, relocation, or voluntary withdrawal.

Women’s Elite Rugby – WER
Women’s Elite Rugby (WER) evolved out of the amateur Women’s Premier League (WPL) in an effort to professionalise women’s rugby in the United States, and played it’s successful inaugural season in 2025. The table below lists all WER teams with links to their individual team pages where, just with the MLR teams, fans can find more information on the history of the team, along with historic stats and standings, and all/active player lists. As WER does not currently use a conference system, the teams are simply listed in alphabetical order.
