Corbin Smith grew up in Connecticut, where he played both football and rugby through high school at Trumbull HS. He attended Hartpury University in England for rugby, and was selected for the USA U20 side in 2024, and was named to the USA Extended Player Squad for 2025. On April 28th, 2025 (the 20235 trade/signing deadline), Anthem RC announced the addition of Smith for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The Miami Sharks host Anthem RC in an Eastern Conference match-up in Florida. Anthem RC are playing their 2nd game in 4 days after a tough outing against the Seattle Seawolves during the week.
