
English-born, US internationally capped Fly-Half Will Magie played in Major League Rugby from the inaugural 2018 season to the conclusion of the 2022 season. He represented the Glendale/Colorado Raptors (2018-2019) and the Austin Gilgronis (2020-2022)
He previously represented Denver Stampede in the short-lived PRO Rugby league, and has also played for English Championship sides Ealing Trailfinders and London Scottish, among others. In his 46 MLR appearances (29 starts), Magie scored 184pts including 13pts in the playoffs. He was the Raptors’ top points scorer during their MLR era and finished as the 3rd highest points scorer league-wide during the 2018 season, with 77pts (64 excluding playoffs) . His overall kicking success rate from the tee was 72.82% (75/103).
Will Magie announced his retirement on instagram on June 13th, 2022. At the time of his retirement he was one of only 12 players to score over 150pts in Major League Rugby. In October 2023, Magie joined the Chicago Hounds staff as their Director of player ops, spending 2 seasons in that role before he was promoted to Chicago Hounds General Manager in September 2025.
