Front Row Timmy Ohlwein played in Major League Rugby between 2022-2023, and again in 2025. He represented the Dallas Jackals (2022), the Chicago Hounds (2023), and Rugby FC LA (2025).

Timmy Ohlwein, an Arkansas State University alum, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Jackals for their 2022 season. He earned 6 appearances off the bench as the Dallas Jackals went 0-16 in a miserable, no good, very bad inaugural season. Following his debut season, Ohlwein headed to Chicago and signed with the Hounds for their inaugural season in 2023, earning an additional 2 appearances for Chicago before playing with their academy side for the 2024 fall season.

Ohlwein did not feature in the 2024 MLR season, instead heading to Australia and playing with the Associates Premier Grade side in Perth. On May 2nd, 2025, Ohlwein appeared on the Rugby FC LA bench for their Round 12 clash with the Seattle Seawolves. RFCLA had suffered season-ending injuries to 4 front rowers, and although confirmation was made by the team, it is likely that Ohlwein was brought in as injury cover for the back half of the 2025 season. He earned a career high 7 appearances for RFCLA that year, helping the team qualify for the playoffs for the first time and coming off the bench for their lone post-season appearance against the Houston SaberCats.

Through his 3 seasons in Major League Rugby, Ohlwein earned a total of 15 appearances, gaining 116m in possession and completing 49 tackles.
