Colorado native Tessa Hann played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Denver Onyx for her entire WER career.

A native of Denver, CO, Tessa Hann attended Wheat Ridge High School before enrolling at Central Washington University, attending CWU between 2020-2024, representing the Wildcats Women’s Rugby team throughout her time there. Following her graduation in 2024, Hann was named to the USA Eagles squad for their August internationals where she earned her test debut against Japan as Eagle #328 in a close, 8-11 victory. Hann earned 3 caps for the Eagles XV side in the tail end of 2024, and made her debut for the USA Women’s Sevens side in the SVNS Series in Vancouver in February 2025. Hann continues to represent the Eagles at both XVs and 7s levels, and most recently featured in the USA’s 2026 PAC4 series in April 2026.

Despite not being named to a WER roster when they were announced in late April 2026, Tessa Hann appeared on the Denver Onyx bench for their Round 6 clash with the Boston Banshees, but was a late withdrawal. She earned her WER debut and played alongside her older sister Carson in the Onyx pink.
