Hawaii native Taina Tukuafu played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

A capped USA Eagle, Taina Tukuafu earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Bay Breakers starting lineup against the Denver Onyx, the first game in Breakers history. She has attended Lindenwood University and played with the Lions while there, and has played with the Berkeley All Blues in the WPL. Tukuafu earned her test debut for the USA as Eagle #317 in July 2023, and has 10 caps to her name.

Tukuafu started 1 of her 4 appearances for the Bay Breakers during their inaugural season, and returned the following year for WER’s sophomore campaign in 2026.
