Pennsylvania native Sophie Pyrz played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026 season. She represented the Twin Cities Gemini for her entire WER career.

Sophie Pyrz was signed by the TC Gemini part-way through WER’s inaugural season. She earned her WER debut when she was named in the TC Gemini reserves for their Round 7 clash with the New York Exiles. Pyrz has previously played with the Life University Running Eagles as well as both the Serengeti Elephants and San Clemente Rhinos in the Rugby Tens Championship. Pryz is a capped USA Eagle, earning her test debut as Eagle #327 against Japan in August 2024.

Sophie Pyrz earned 4 appearances during the inaugural WER season in 2025, starting twice for the TC Gemini. She returned for a second season with the team in 2026.
