Washington state native Sadie Schier played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Denver Onyx for her entire WER career.

A native of Eatonville, WA, Schier was named a High School All-American, swimming, wrestling, and playing soccer. Schier enrolled at Dartmouth College and joined the women’s rugby team in her freshman year. She was named as the team’s back of the year in 2022/23 when she was also selected for the USA U20s Pacific Four series and the USA U23s, and attended a USA Sevens pathway camp in December of 2024 before helping Dartmouth to a CRAA 7s national championship in May 2025, shortly before graduating.

Schier was included on the Denver Onyx roster in early 2026 ahead of that year’s WER campaign.
