Iowa native Rachel Ehrecke played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the Denver Onyx for her entire WER career.
A capped USA Eagle, Rachel Ehrecke earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Denver Onyx starting lineup against the Bay Breakers, the first game in Onyx history. She has previously played with the DMP Sharks in the Premier 15s in England, now known as the PWR, as well as the Colorado Gray Wolves. Ehrecke is USA Eagle #296, and represented her country at the 2025 Rugby World Cup in England, before signing with the Loughborough Lightning for the 2025/26 PWR season.
Ehrecke was selected to participate in the USA Eagles’ UK alignment camp in early 2026 and, despite not being named to a WER roster when they were announced in late-April, once the English PWR season finished, Ehrecke returned to the Denver Onyx for the tail end of the 2026 season.
