US-Eligible Australian winger Oscar Treacy played in Major League Rugby during the 2026 season. He represented the California Legion for his entire MLR career.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Oscar Treacy attended Kingswood College where he first picked up rugby. He moved to the US in 2021 when he enrolled at Central Washington University, representing the Wildcats from 2021 until his graduation in 2025. While at CWU, Treacy was selected as part of the USA Falcons Sevens side in both 2023 and 2025, as well as the USA U23s Sevens team for the 2024 Rugbytown Sevens tournament. He was named a 2x CRAA All-American, and to top it off he was named as the 2025 Rudy Scholz Award Winner, recognising the best college rugby player in the USA.

After graduating from CWU in 2025, Treacy declared for the 2025 MLR Collegiate Draft and was selected in the 1st Round, 5th overall by the California Legion, marking the team’s first ever draft selection in their new form. On 23rd January 2026, the Legion confirmed that they had signed US-eligible Oscar Treacy to a Major League Rugby contract for their inaugural season in 2026.
