Connecticut native Morgan Schechter played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

A native of Cheshire, CT, Schechter attended the American International College between 2022-2026, playing for the AIC Yellowjackets for her entire tenure there. She was a key part of AIC’s back-to-back NIRA Division II National Championships in 2024 and 2025, and helped the 7s side to their first ever CRC National Championship in early 2026, where she caught the eye of Banshees head coach, Kitt Ruiz.

Although not included on a WER roster when they were announced in late April 2026, Morgan Schechter was included in the starting XV for the Boston Banshees’ Round 4 clash with the TC Gemini, where she earned her WER debut.
