Uruguayan back row Manuel Diana played in Major League Rugby between 2020-2021. He represented the Toronto Arrows for his entire MLR career.
Diana joined the Toronto Arrows ahead of the 2020 Major League Rugby season, scoring 2 tries and starting all 5 games as the Arrows went 4-1 before the COVID-19 pandemic shut the season down. He returned the following year, scoring another 3 tries and starting 12 of his 13 appearances for Toronto, recording an even 900m gained and completing over 100 tackles as the Arrows spent the 2021 season on the road, based out of Atlanta.
Following the arduous 2021 campaign, Manuel Diana returned to his native Uruguay, signing with Super Rugby Americas franchise Peñarol. Since departing MLR, Diana has represented Uruguay at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, and have helped Peñarol claim 3 SRA titles in 2022, 2023, and in 2025, when Diana captained the side.
