Back three player Laura Thacker played in Women’s Elite Rugby during it’s inaugural season in 2025. She represented the Bay Breakers for her entire WER career.

Despite being listed as an ‘on-call player’, Laura Thacker earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Bay Breakers starting lineup against the Denver Onyx, the first game in Breakers history. She has previously represented the Berkeley All Blues in the WPL, and has played with the Cape Town Wild Dogs in the Rugby Tens Championship.
