Colorado native Julie Tordonato played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the Denver Onyx for her entire WER career.

A capped USA Eagle, Julie Tordonato earned her WER debut in Round 2 of the 2025 season, when she was named in the Denver Onyx starting lineup against the Bay Breakers, the first game in Onyx history. She has previously represented the Colorado Gray Wolves, and Life West in the WPL, and has participated in a number of USA camps. Tordonato appeared in all 10 regular season games for the Denver Onyx as well as the WER Legacy Cup match, starting every time. She added a pair of tries to help the Onyx secure the first Legacy Cup title, and returned for a second year with the team in 2026.
