Saskatchewan native Hubert Buydens played in Major League Rugby from 2018-2019, representing NOLA Gold. He was a starter for NOLA in MLR’s first ever game in 2018, against the Houston SaberCats. He retired in 2020, ending a stellar career that saw him earning 58 caps for Canada including at the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups.
