Nebraskan centre/fullback Hayden Hill played in Major League Rugby during the 2022 season. He represented the Dallas Jackals for his entire MLR career.

A native of Omaha, NE, Hayden Hill began playing rugby at high school with Omaha United RFC before moving to Colorado where he enrolled at Grand Canyon University. While at GCU, Hill played club rugby with Boulder RFC and Vail RFC as well as representing GCU itself between 2017-2019. Following his graduation, Hill moved to Australia and spent several months playing with the Bangalow Rebels, before returning to the US and settling in Dallas, TX, where he played for the Dallas Reds at both 7s and 15s levels.

Following an injury crisis arising from an off-field incident, the Dallas Jackals announced that Hayden Hill had been signed to an MLR deal in April 2022, for that year’s campaign. Hill earned his MLR debut for the Jackals as the starting fullback for their Round 12 clash with Old Glory DC, in which he scored both of Dallas’ tries in a tough 50-10 loss. He would go on to start 2 of his 3 appearances in is debut season. Hill was re-signed by the Jackals for the 2023 season, but was released during the pre-season. Around the same time, Hill was named to the USA Hawks squad for their tour of South America, but he was unable to attend as he had moved to Australia following his release from the Jackals, and joined Nedlands Rugby Club in Perth.

Hayden Hill has since returned to the Dallas Reds in Texas, where he continues to play.
