Canadian centre Gabe Casey played in Major League Rugby during the 2024 season. He represented the New England Free Jacks (2024) and the Utah Warriors (2025).

He was initially drafted 31st overall in 2022 by the Toronto Arrows, but opted to return to play with the University of Victoria Vikes in British Columbia. He was drafted again in 2023, 13th overall, by the New England Free Jacks, whom he represented in 2024. He is the only player in MLR history to have been selected in 2 MLR Collegiate Drafts (2022 & 2023). Casey was selected as part of the Canada squad for their August tour of Tonga, where he earned his international debut.

The Ottawa native was drafted 13th overall by the Free Jacks in August 2023, and the announcement of his official signing with the New England club came on 25th October 2023, along with the signing of Killian Coghlan and fellow draftee Junior Gafa. The day after his signing was announced, Casey was included in the Canada squad for their November tests in Spain. Casey earned just 1 appearance for the Free Jacks in the shield-winning 2024 season, coming off the bench and making a pair of tackles. His season was affected by injury, as well as a deep Free Jacks squad at centre. On October 28th, 2024, the Utah Warriors announced the signing of Casey for the 2025 MLR season. The MLR Trade Wire shows that the Utah Warriors acquired Casey via trade with the New England Free Jacks in exchange for 2025 Salary Cap Considerations, but this trade was dated October 31st, 2024. Three days after the Warriors announced his signing.
