Florida native Gabby Pennino played in Women’s Elite Rugby between 2025-2026. She represented the New York Exiles (2025) and the Chicago Tempest (2026).

Gabby Pennino earned her WER debut when she were named on the bench for the New York Exiles’ Round 3 clash with the Denver Onyx in Colorado. She played rugby while attending the University of Central Florida, and has previously played with the Tampa Bay Krewe and the Chicago North Shore Sevens side. Pennino earned 5 appearances for the New York Exiles in WER’s inaugural season, starting once and contributing a pair of tries to help the Exiles finish as WER Runners-up in the first year of competition.

Pennino returned to WER for year two in 2026, this time representing the Chicago Tempest.
