South Carolina native Chase Mauerhan played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. They represented the New York Exiles for their entire WER career.

A native of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Chase Mauerhan played club rugby with Wando Rugby Club while attending the College of Charleston, before transferring to Queen’s University of Charlotte where they represented the Women’s Rugby Team as a forward, before transitioning to a fly-half, playing with the Portland Pigs Women’s Side while attending Oregon State University. Mauerhan was included in the NY Exiles squad for their 2026 WER campaign in late April of that year.
