Ohio native Carly Lehman played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the New York Exiles for her entire WER career.

A native of Shaker Heights, OH, Carly Lehman attended Harvard University between 2021-2025, representing the Crimson Women’s Rugby team for her entire tenure there. She helped Harvard to a National 15s Championship in 2023/24 and served as team captain from 2024-2025. She was nominated for the MA Sorensen award in 2025. Following her time at Harvard, Lehman attended Duke Law school.

Although she was not named to their roster for the 2026 WER season in late April, Carly Lehman was a last minute addition to the New York Exiles bench for their Round 3 clash with the Chicago Tempest, earning her WER debut from the reserves in the team’s first win of the season.
