Argentinian Fly-Half Alejandro Torres played in Major League Rugby between 2022-2023. He represented the Dallas Jackals for his entire MLR career.

A native of San Miguel de Tucumán in Argentina, Alejandro Torres represented the Argentina U20s in 2017 and was named to the Sudamérica XV in 2019, before moving to the US to attend Thomas More University. Following his time there, Torres declared for the 2021 MLR Collegiate Draft and was picked in the 2nd round (23rd overall) by the Dallas Jackals. His signing was announced by the Jackals in January 2022 and he earned 7 caps in his debut MLR season including 6 starts, scoring 2 tries and 18pts to make him the Jackals’ 3rd highest points scorer in their inaugural MLR season.

Between 2022 & 2023, Torres earned 19 MLR caps for the Dallas Jackals including 17 starts, scoring 2 tries and 32pts total and going 8/11 from the tee. Torres was the Jackals’ 3rd highest points scorer across their first 2 MLR seasons, behind Martin Elias (37pts) and Adriaan Carelse (46pts).

On 1st August 2023, CUS Torino in the Italian Serie A (2nd tier) announced the signing of Ale Torres, making him the 2nd Jackal to leave for Italy in quick succession, following Conrado Roura.
