South African scrum-half Aidan Ridgway played in Major League Rugby during the 2026 season. He represented Old Glory DC for his entire MLR career.

A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Aidan Ridgway enrolled at Arkansas University and represented the Red Wolves from 2020-2024. Following his graduation from Arkansas, Ridgway declared for the 2024 MLR Draft and was selected as one of the 50 top prospects to attend the MLR Rising combine. Clearly his performance at MLR Rising impressed MLR staff, as when the 2024 draft came around, Ridgway was selected in the 2nd round, 15th overall by Old Glory DC. He spent the fall of 2024 with the Old Glory DC academy side and the Washington Irish, but did not feature at MLR level during the 2025 season. NARDB understands that although Ridgway was working towards US-eligibility, he had not obtained it at that point. Instead, Ridgway returned to Arkansas State for another year with the Red Wolves.

On 22nd January 2026 however, Old Glory DC announced the addition of newly US-eligible Aidan Ridgway for their 2026 campaign.
