Pennsylvania native Merrin McSorley played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

A native of Lower Merion, PA, Merrin McSorley attented Penn State University where she represented the Women’s Rugby team while there, graduating in 2025. Although she was not named to a WER roster when they were announced in late April 2026, McSorley appeared in the reserves for the Boston Banshees Round 5 clash with the Bay Breakers, where she earned her WER debut.
