Scotland native Kirsty Venter played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Kirsty Venter is a multi-sport athlete, splitting her time between playing rugby, touch rugby, and tennis. She attended Boise State from 2015-2017, and then Arkansas State in 2017-18 where she played tennis at both before returning to Scotland. Venter has played club rugby with Broughton in Edinburgh, and has represented Scotland at the Touch World Cup in 2015 and 2024. Venter was included on the Boston Banshees roster for their 2026 WER season in late april of that year.
