Desiree Leaupepe played in Women’s Elite Rugby during the 2026 season. She represented the Boston Banshees for her entire WER career.

A California State University, Northridge graduate, Desiree Leaupepe represented CSUN on the rugby field while in attendance, and plays her club rugby with the San Fernando Valley Women’s Rugby Club. She has also represented the Rhinos Rugby Academy on the Rugby Tens Championship circuit. Leaupepe was included on the Twin Cities Gemini roster for WER’s inaugural season in 2025, but did not feature. She returned to WER for the 2026 season, this time on the Boston Banshees roster.
