2020 – RD 5: Colorado Raptors v Toronto Arrows

The Toronto Arrows travel to Infinity Park with a 4-0 record on the season, to take on the Colorado Raptors.

The Raptors emerged victorious in an error-riddled game for both sides. Robbie Petzer nailed a 76th minute penalty to give the Raptors a narrow lead that they held on to for a 22-19 victory, handing the Arrows their first defeat of the 2020 Major League Rugby season.

This game turned out to be the last MLR game of the 2020 season for both sides, as the season would be postponed for 30 days on March 12, 2020, and then cancelled on March 19, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This game proved to be the last ever MLR game for the Raptors, who announced on April 9, 2020 that they would be pulling out of the competition effective May 2, 2020.

2020 – RD 4: Colorado Raptors v Utah Warriors

The Colorado Raptors hold on to claim their first victory of the 2020 Major League Rugby season against the Utah Warriors at Infinity Park.

2 late converted scores from the Warriors was not enough to overcome the 22pt deficit that the Raptors had amassed throughout the game and a winning margin of 8pts means that Utah didn’t even come away with a losing BP.
