US-eligible Italian centre Tommaso Boni played in Major League Rugby during the 2024 season. He represented Old Glory DC during his debut season in North America.

Boni earned 11 caps for the Italian national team before switching to the USA Eagles, with whom he is eligible for his US-born grandfather. He was selected in the USA squad for their November tour of Spain, where he could earn his debut for the Eagles. Boni’s move to Major League Rugby was announced by Old Glory DC on 19th October 2023, who he joined from Italian club Zebre in the URC.
