South Seattle native Jeremiah Sio represented the Seattle Seawolves in the 2023 Major League Rugby season.

Sio has been playing with Seattle Rugby Club since his high school graduation in 2018, and has been a part of the Seawolves organisation for a number of years, having attended their first talent ID camp in July 2021. Impressing at the ID camp, he was invited to take part in preseason training in November of 2021 as a development player and was activated onto the 2022 MLR roster, appearing in a preseason game against his club, Seattle RFC.

Sio earned his MLR debut in Week 18 of the MLR season, having been named to the starting XV for Seattle’s week 18 clash with the San Diego Legion that the Seawolves ultimately lost 40-19. The Seawolves fielded a drastically different line up for this game as they had already secured a playoff spot and home field advantage. Head Coach Allan Clarke described it as an opportunity to award members of the Seawolves extended squad that have put in the effort throughout the season.
